I knew for the gift card I wanted to use the Nothing Bundt Cakes gift card with the chef from Recipe for Happiness stamp and die set. Then MFT comes out with their new sketch challenge and I thought, I can make a pocket! SO my creation was born!
I took the colors from the Nothing Bundt Cakes gift card. I cut the pocket from my cameo and inked with Tim Holtz distress oxide inks: wild honey, carved pumpkin, and spiced marmalade over a brick stencil. I also used those colors on the inside of the pocket. I sewed around the edges and cut the tag from my cameo and added brown twine. The images are from MFT Recipe for Happiness stamp set and I colored them with copic markers and used the mft coordinating dies to cut them out. The sentiment I took from MFT Ewe Are the Best stamp set and heat embossed in white. I added a little sparkle with copper stickles on his buttons and a brown glitter gem.
I love the brightness of this card and how it matches the gift card! On the inside I heat embossed the sentiment in white and then used the oxide inks to create a beautiful ombre background to help it stand out. I used MFT inside and out stitched rectangle dies to create the base and the stamped sentiment comes from Mama Elephant carnival toppers stamp set.
Hope this gives you some inspiration to create some gift card cards for some awesome people in your lives!
