MFT Sketch Challenge #380

MFT Sketch Challenge #380

I have a husband who loves to watch Dr. Who with our daughter and when I saw this sketch I thought of a great Father’s Day card for him!

mft sketch challenge #380

I just absolutely LOVE the retired London Mouse stamp and die set from MFT.  The buildings in this set are amazing!

To create this card I used oxide inks and Heidi Swapp sprays to create the background.  I cut a circle in the center using mft inside and out stitched circle die-namics and stamped a London scene to go in the circle.  I stamped the phone booth and made it into the Tardis, colored with copic markers and pop dotted in the London scene.  Next, I cut the heart using mft stitched heart die-namics and used pop dots to raise it.  The happy fathers day I cut out of navy velvet paper using Lawn Fawn’s Father’s Day border die and glued to a white strip and pop dotted.

Inside, I created a white stitched frame using mft inside and out stitched rectangle die-namics and die cut the Dr. Dad from mft stitched alphabet die-namics using the inked and sprayed paper.  I stamped one more Tardis and colored with copic markers.

Now to just hide this card until Father’s Day…
