This SSS Wednesday Challenge has some of my favorite words in card making-Sparkle and Shine! Bling is what I call it.
For my birthday I got the new cross stitch die-namics die and wanted to use it for Mother’s Day. I love to cross stitch during the evening when watching shows with the hubby, and now I can be making some awesome cards!
This card I cross stitched a flower with filament thread (glitter) and then used the mft scalloped stitched die-namics to cover the edges with shimmer green cardstock. I then die cut the word MOM from gold glitter paper from mft stitched alphabet die-namics. SSS greeting wafer dies is the thank you that I die cut from peach foil paper.
Inside, I die cut the scallop from the green shimmer cardstock and covered the heat embossed sentiment that I inked with oxide inks.
I love the cross stitch dimension on this card and the shimmer that goes with it! I will be using this die lots to create fun cards!
