CDD August Release Hop Using Stamps in Unique Ways

New Release Blog Hop

Craftin Desert Divas August New Release

This release is full of my favorite season, Autumn!  Lots of cute critters and tribal themed stamps to check out plus a 5% discount for two days during our blog hop!

Today, I’m sharing how to extend the use of your stamps by looking at them in unique and untraditional ways.  The new August Craftin Desert Divas digital stamps are tribal in theme but I used them to create a baby card!

To make the card and gift tag I resized and printed off my images and sentiments: TEEPEE, MOOSE, FOX, DREAMCATCHER

I chose to use lighter copic marker colors to get a softer feel for the tribal images.

For the card, I used the brown polka dot paper from Doodlebug Design 6×6 Hello Sunshine paper pad with an overlay I die cut from my cameo silhouette.  I glued the TEEPEE onto the card base and pop dotted the MOOSE and DREAMCATCHER.  I added Nuvo drops in purpleblue, & orange.

For the gift tag, I die cut the scallop tag using fancy frame dies and added the scalloped frame from the inside scalloped rectangle dies around the printed sentiment.  I added the FOX using pop dots and put some Nuvo drops in purpleblue, & orange around him.  Next, I punched a hole and added some orange twine to finish off the tag.

The new August Digital Stamp sets are available now and you can get them at great prices through the CDD Digi Club!  Take a look!
