Valentine’s is my favorite holiday to makes card for, I think it’s because I love the pinks and reds with the black and greys!
To create this fun loving card I used CDD product:
- Panda-Bilities stamp set
- window pane die
- octagon scalloped dies for the hearts
- spun sugar & worn lipstick oxide inks
- shimmer spray
- white nuvo drops
- heartbreaker sequins
- memento black ink
- versamark ink
I love when a card just comes together and you love it! This was quick and since the pandas don’t need too much coloring.
I started my card with a 110 white card stock base. I inked watercolor paper with spun sugar & worn lipstick oxide inks and then splatter with a paint brush dipped in white paint and with shimmer spray. While that dried, I did some die cutting. I die cut the window pane from black glitter paper and some cheap white paper and layered. I also, die cut a bunch of hearts from 110 lb white card stock. I glued the pink paper down and layered the hearts on top. The frame I glued down in the center.
Next, I stamped the pandas with memento ink, colored with copics, and fussy cut out. I pop dotted them over the frame. I then die cut the banner and heat embossed with white using versmark ink. I pop dotted this going off of the card and trimmed the extra off with scissors. For the embellishments, I added some heart sequins and white nuvo drops on the end of the banner.
