Wooly Cute Pastel Box Card

Craftin Desert Divas is kicking off a new Creative Inspiration each month were you can enter your projects following the theme of the month for a chance to win!  The theme for this month of March is interactive card or/and pastel colors!  I chose to do both in my box card below!

This box card was mostly die cutting and a little coloring so surprisingly went pretty quickly (well as quick as I was since I was distracted by watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix!)  I started my card base by cutting the card box from mint green and the accents from printed peach paper and white card stock.  I cut the insert tabs (3) from thick white cardstock and added some mint green grass to each of them varying the height going higher towards the back.

Next, I stamped my images from wooly lambs & forest friends stamp sets, colored with pastel copic markers, and fussy cut out.  I also stamped the sentiment, colored with copics, and cut into a banner.  I added them to the card, pop dotting some for depth on each section.  0305-Candice-Intro to pastel interactive theme top

For the back, I inked the panel with tattered rose oxide ink using the burst stencil.  I added the fence with pop dots along with two stitched clouds.  For the final touch, I added some shimmer sequins.

Now, I can’t wait to see what you create for the creative inspiration using Craftin Desert Divas products!

Here is some more inspiration of pastel colored images from the February new release!
