I started my slim line card by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base. I then trimmed another piece to fit over the card front and die cut the 4 rectangle frames, leaving space to heat emboss the sentiment in white.
Next, I inked the top piece with shabby shutters. I then inked the backgrounds behind each frame with tumbled glass & hickory smoke. To add a bit of separation, I die cut some more stitched frames in white.
I stamped all the images, colored them with light copic markers, fussy cut some out & die cut some with the coaster critters coordinating dies. The little word bubble I took from the llama tell you stamp set because it was the perfect size to fit the images!
To put it all together, I glued and pop dotted the cuties to give depth to the card. I didn’t add any embellishments (which was very hard for me!) because I wanted the little pieces to shine!
Hope I have inspired you to create and join in the LF challenge, you have until August 4th!
