A Fa La La Llama Christmas!

Ok, so you guys all know that I have become obsessed with creating slim line cards now and am soooo excited that Whimsy Stamps has come out with a new die that fits this slim line size!!!  I am doing a happy dance around my craft room!

This is just one of the really cool things in their new September release available today!  Check out all the new stuff after reading about this adorable card I created!

The new Whimsy products (and some older) I used are:

I always start my card with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which fits perfectly into the size 9A envelopes which can be found at your local craft store or online!

I began my card by die cutting the slimline frame and inking the outside with spun sugar & worn lipstick creating the ombre fade.  Next, I stamped the inside pieces with the lots of dots stamp and heat embossed in white and inked with tea dye.

I then stamped all those adorable llamas, colored with copic markers and fussy cut out.

To put it all together, I pop dotted the outside frame and the cuties along with the heat embossed sentiment from the llama set.  For my embellishments, I added some wink of stella to accent the llamas along with clear domes & white nuvo drops.

If you haven’t seen the new amazing release visit it here and for some amazing creations from the DT visit the Whimsy Stamps FB page!

Copic markers used:

I love using non traditional Christmas colors on cards and I love the softness of these Llamas!
