Spooky Sweet Shaker!

I am sharing a spooky sweet shaker card with you today using some of September’s release!

The Whimsy Stamps products I used:

• Fuzzy Spiders stamp set
• Slimline Scallop die
• Happy Halloween word die
• boo sparkletz
• black embossing powder
• copic markers

I begin my slimline cards by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base that fit perfectly into the size 9A envelopes.

I started the background by die trimming black cardstock and adhering to the card base.  I then die cut the slimline scallop twice, once using Bristol smooth and another through black velvet for the frames.

Next, I inked the slimline scallop with hickory smoke, dusty concord & milled lavender oxide inks.

To make the shaker windows, I die cut foam sheets with the scalloped frame three times, trimmed acetate and placed on one side of the frame and adhered the velvet frame on top.  I lined up where the frames would go with the metal slimline die and place the sparkletz in the middle of each window.  I then pop dotted the whole frame onto the front!

I finished up the card by die cutting the Happy Halloween multiple times, once with grey glitter paper and 3 more with thick white cardstock.  I then layered them to create a thick sentiment and glued to the card in between the windows.

Next, I stamped the spiderwebs and heat embossed in black on grey cardstock.  Then I stamped the spiders & hats, colored with copic markers and fussy cut out.  I added these all pop dotted to the front.

Copic colors used:

• spider hats-V09, V17, V15, V12, V000, V0000, C5, C3,C1 & C0
