Hello! Candice with you today excited to be guest designing with Dare 2b Artzy Stamps! I love how whimsical this Home Sweet Home stamp set is for creating artistic type of cards, as I did for this one!
My idea behind the design was the sentiment. I wanted to make one set of houses pop with color to show how friends make a house a home!
For my background, I first inked cardstock with seedless preserves, picked raspberries, worn lipstick & squeezed lemonade.
Next, I stamped all the houses and plants from the Home Sweet Home stamp set multiple times, colored one set and the plants with copic markers and fussy cut them all out. I glued the back two black and white images down and trimmed the sides.
I then die cut the frame from thick black cardstock and glued the other colored images to the back of the frame adhering to the card with foam tape.
To finish the card, I heat embossed and stamped the sentiments, cutting out with scissors and using foam tape to adhere to the card. For a little bit of sparkle, I added a few sequins in coordinating colors.
