Welcome! I am happy to have you hopping along with us at Reverse Confetti as we share more inspiration with you using the new release available today at 7pm! You should have come from Jessica Frost-Ballas along the hop or you can start with me!
I went with a bright and happy card for you today using lots of the new Reverse Confetti products:
- Rain or Shine stamps & coordinating dies
- Snail Mail stamps & coordinating dies
- Background Builder stamps
- Cross Tiles Cover Panel die
- This Says It All stamps
- Three Tags dies
I began with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which fits perfectly into your standard size envelopes.
For the background, I first die inked the top a piece of Bistrol Smooth trimmed to fit on the front of my card with mustard seed & squeezed lemonade. I then cut the cross tiles panel to create a stencil and used the mustard seed to add the pattern over the inked yellow going a little darker for it to show slightly. I then stamped the fence from the Background Builder set in versafine black ink.
To put the card together, I die cut the small tag and inked the same way as the background and stamped the hello and added a strip of ribbon. I lined it up and stamped the happy mail above before adhering the tag with foam tape. I layered the flowers and mail box in the white grass popping up the one with the sentiment. I tucked the kitties behind the top grass and glued the rainbow down and used foam tape on the clouds.
For a little sparkle, I added a few sequins.
Here is the list of the Blog Hop, you should go to Susan Wymer next! I hope you are inspired to create with this adorably fabulous release!
