Sunny Studio Stamps 5th Birthday Hop

For my slimline Christmas card, I used these new Sunny Studio products:

• Penguin Pals & coordinating dies
• Season’s Greetings stamps & coordinating dies
• Window Quad Circle die

I began with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which is just right for your standard size envelopes.

For my background, I first trimmed a piece of thick white cardstock the size of my card front and die cut the 4 circles on the top and the bottom leaving space in the middle for my sentiment. I absolutely love that these circles are connected, making lining up and die cutting so easy!

I went ahead and stamped my sentiment in versafine black ink. I then simply trimmed another piece, this time from navy cardstock and added the circle panel with foam tape over it onto the front.

Next, I stamped my penguins and accessories, colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut out. I used foam tape to tuck them into the circles, trimming the bottoms if necessary.

To finish, I heat embossed the Christmas in gold glitter powder and used the new coordinating die to cut out. The Christmas is from last year’s stamp set, but she brought out the dies for the sentiments, which made me so happy! The fonts in the set are just gorgeous and you will see me using them often!
