I am excited to be joining with the Hero Arts Collaboration with Reverse Confetti today with stamp sets that are meant to help bring our communities together and proceeds from this stamp set will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign. The Better Together stamp set was designed by the Reverse Confetti’s Jen del Muro’s daughter, Ellie, and I am showing a different way to use the flower!
I used these products to create my rainbow slimline card:
- Hero Arts & Reverse Confetti Collaboration Better Together stamp set & coordinating dies
- Reverse Confetti Stitched Circles Cover Panel die
I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.
For my background, I die cut the stitched circle panel into a slimline size by using the partial die cut method of cutting one side almost to the end and then lining it up and running it through the other side almost to the end. I then trimmed the edges and glued to the front of my card base.
Next, I stamped the solid flowers as pots with no line coloring ink and then stamped the stripes and polka dots with Copic friendly black ink. I then stamped the leaves with the no-line color ink as well and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I colored them all with Copic markers in fun rainbow colors and arranged them with foam tape along the bottom. I finished with the beautiful sentiment stamped on a trimmed banner and some matching domes!
I hope this beautiful stamp set can inspire you to share the love with your family, friends and community and make it a brighter place to be!
