Deep Down Fun!

I have another sweet slimline design for you today using the new release from Paperie Ink stamps! One of my favorite type of cards to make is underwater and I always fall in love with them like this Deep Down stamp set!

I used these products to create my slimline design:

I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.

For the background, I first die cut the stitched panel and glued to the center of my card front. I then created the 3 different sized circle frames from the Sunny Studio large and small stitched circle dies and then die cut the circles to go behind each of the frames from Bristol Smooth cardstock. I inked them with salty ocean, salvaged patina, and cracked pistachio going lighter as I went up on each circle. I splattered them with water, white and gold paint using a damp paintbrush.

While I let those dry, I stamped my images from the sets listed above, colored them with copic markers and fussy cut them out. I added some highlights with a white pen.

To put the card together, I glued the images to the background circles and the frames over them. Next, I trimmed the edges once I glued them to the card front and then I added the white gems around to give it a nautical feel. I finished with the sentiment on a stitched black banner heat embossed with white!

Do you have a favorite type of design you love to create with? I’d love to hear your favorites!

Thank you!
