Sugar Pea Designs Challenge #54

I really loved the colors from this Sugar Pea Designs challenge and decided I wanted to make another card using the colors and the sketch!  I fell in love with the limited edition cacti stamp set from Sugar Pea Designs the moment I saw it and enjoyed pulling them out again!

To create this sweet card, I started by stamping the sentiment with versafine black ink onto watercolor paper and then taping it off and inking with pumice stone lightly above the sentiment.  On another sheet of watercolor paper, I taped my stencil at an angle and inked with scattered straw, tattered rose, and abandoned coral.  After removing the stencil I went over the sections very lightly with the coordinating colors and then die cut the bottom at an angle, pop dotting to the top of the card.

I stamped the adorable images from the cuddly cacti stamp set, colored with copic markers, and die cut out using the coordinating dies.  I glued some down and pop dotted others to give it some variety.  For the final touch, I added a few green sequins.
