I am excited to be Guest Designing for this new September release by Reverse Confetti on their Release Blog Hop today! I just love their style and the new Pick of the Patch is no exception and I have 2 cards using it for you today!
For my first card I used these new release products:
- Pick of the Patch stamps & coordinating dies
- Seasonal Say It All stamps
- Peace Tree stamps
I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which fits nicely into your standard size envelopes.
For my background, I first created my partial striped panel on my cameo silhouette and stamped the sentiment in the center and the trees along the side. The open sentiments in the Seasonal Say It All stamp set is awesome and the trees are part of the Peace Tree set which is free with your $60 purchase! I then inked a piece of Bristol Smooth with evergreen bough & speckled egg and glued behind the open stripes.
Next, I stamped all the images from the Pick of the Patch stamp set, colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered them to the card either with glue or foam tape to give dimension across the card and finished with a few green domes!
For my second card, I went with a fun fall day with lots of movement with the leaves, pumpkins and adorable critters!
I love that I was able to create this full card using just the one stamp set, Pick of the Patch!
I also began this card with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.
For my background, I again went to my cameo silhouette and created the circles on my front panel. I inked the circle sections on my Bristol Smooth piece with evergreen bough & iced spruce and using a paintbrush splattered the same colors on the panel. I then stamped the sentiments in navy and pink to match my colors. I adhered over the panel with foam tape for a bit of a pop!
Next, I stamped my images from the Pick of the Patch stamp set onto watercolor paper, colored them with my Zig clean color markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I added them to the card with foam tape and glued a few tucked in behind. To finish, I added some blue domes!
I hope you are inspired by my creations today and that you are ready to continue on your blog hop for more amazing inspiration from the September release!
Thank you for stopping by,
Candice

Candice, your cards are truly MARVELOUS! I just adore the hues that you used to create these two fall jems! AND I super duper like that you used the peace tree, as a fall tree, with the leaves in the first card! Purely brilliant!!!! You really are the slimline creating queen! You should totally have a crown! Hugs and craftiness to you! @lizzardsbf
