Heffy Doodle and Sunny Studio Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop

Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies!

I combined these fabulous two companies to create a fun interactive beach scene to brighten a friend’s day!

I used these products from Heffy Doodle & Sunny Studio to create my slimline card:

I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.

For the background, I die cut the stitched scalloped frame from Kraft cardstock and adhered it to the card front. I then die-cut the stitched panel from Bristol Smooth cardstock, taped off the bottom, and inked the ocean with salty ocean. I moved the tape to cover the ocean line and inked lightly the clouds from a die-cut cloud stencil with tumbled glass and topped off with the stitched clouds. The sand was created with a stitched hill, inked with tea dye and antique linen, and splattered with these inks and white paint using a damp paintbrush.

I then created my sentiment on the top by stamping the “cruising” and “Hey Gull Friend!” with Versafine black ink. I heat embossed the “by to say” in white on a black banner and used foam tape to finish the fun sentiment!

Next, I stamped the images from the stamp sets listed above, colored them with Copic markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I glued the buoy down and then created my interactive element on my background panel by die cutting the pull tab and notch to slide the card on. I then glued the car to the pull tab and adhered the whole panel with foam tape to the Kraft scalloped frame.

I finished by adding all the cute beach accessories all around as these cuties enjoy their cruising in the sun!
