Season’s Hoggy Greetings

Hello fellow crafty friends!  It’s Candice here sharing a farm inspired Christmas card with you today highlighting the amazing scripts in the Season’s Greetings stamp set!

Candice-1018-Season's Greetings

The amazing new release items from Sunny Studio that I used:

I truly love how the Season’s Greetings sentiment fits so perfectly into the Garland frame!

Candice-1018-Season's Greetings side

To begin my card I die cut two Garland frames, one from white velvet cardstock and the second from white glitter, using a shim to get a cut through all the intricate detail.  I trimmed the white velvet pieces by cutting the corners off and gluing slightly off center under the glitter frame.

Next, I used the frame to see where to put my Season’s Greetings and heat embossed in white.  I then glued just the edges of the frame down so the leaves could have some dimension around the sentiment.

I stamped the adorable piggy, colored with copic markers, and cut out using the coordinating dies.  I also heat embossed the hoggy in white, trimmed by hand and inked with tattered rose.  I adhered them with foam dots for even more dimension.

For the final touches, I heat embossed some of the individual pine leaves in white on vellum and cut out using the coordinating dies.  Using the same dies, I cut the three berries from white glitter and topped with some pearls.  I added a few more pearls around the sentiment to finish off the card.

Thank you for stopping by!

Merry Christmouse House!

Hello to my fellow crafters, it’s Candice here sharing a different use for the new sweet treat house add-on!  It is an awesome accessory for the new sweet treat bag, but can be used for so much more!

The adorable new release products I used:

I began my slimline card by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which fits perfectly into the size 9A envelopes.

For the background, I inked the sky using chipped sapphire, faded jeans & blueprint sketch and splattered some white paint using a damp paint brush.

While the sky dried, I created the adorable mouse house by first, trimming the green pattern paper to fit the card and then the shingles with the grey pattern.  Next, I die cut all the windows, doors and accessories, some multiple times to get the dimension I wanted.  I set those aside a moment to stamp the micechimney & christmas lights, coloed with copic markers and then cut out using the coordinating dies to each set.

To put it all together, I added the santa mouse to the chimney with the singles angled over the pop dotted house.  I was then able to add all the house accessories with cheesy goodness in the windows!

For the front of the house, I die cut the snowhills making sure I stamped the sentiment before adhering.  I finished it all with the shiny layered merry, a few sweet treats on the wreath and a string of lights!

I hope I have inspired you to take a second look at your dies to use them in different ways!

Thank you for visiting!

Sending Snuggly Hugs

It’s Friday and I wish you all a crafty weekend ahead!

Candice here and can I tell you how excited I am to be sharing my first official post with you on the Sunny Studio’s Design Team?!  Just look at how cute this new Holiday release is!

1004-Feeling Frosty

I truly love how Sunny Studio stamps sets can easily be combined!  For this card, I used:

I began my card by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which fits perfectly into the size 9A envelopes.

I first stamped the snowmenhouses & kiddos, colored them with copic markers, and used the coordinating dies listed above for each set.

I then heat embossed the sentiment in silver and trimmed to a banner.

For the background, I inked the sky using peacock feathers, tumbled glass & shabby shutters, gluing the houses right at the green glow.

Next, I created my snowhills from the AMAZING new Subtle Grey Tones 6×6 paper.  I know I will be going back to this pack often, so many possibilities with this set!

To put the card together, I layered the snowhills and pop dotted the images along them, adding the sentiment along the bottom.

For the final touch, I added a bit of sparkle with some glitter snowflakes.

If you haven’t seen the full new holiday release, take some time to check it out here.  You will absolutely fall in love!

Thank you for visiting!

I created my slimline scallop frame by die cutting partway and then aligning again and recutting to get the size I needed.  An awesome way to extend your dies and use them in different ways!

Next, I lightly inked the sky with spun sugar directly on the scalloped frame.  I then stamped all my images from Hogs & Kisses & Scenic Route stamp sets, colored them with copic markers, and die cut out using Hogs & Kisses coordinating dies & Scenic Route coordinating dies.

To finish off the card, I heat embossed Hoggy in white and trimmed to create a small banner.  Next, I die cut the Christmas once from gold foil and multiple times from scraps of white and layered to get a thick sentiment.  I added some domes in varying colors and sizes to match the colors in the card.  For my final touches I added a bit of sparkle with the wink of stella.

I really hope you have been inspired along your hop today!
