Welcome to the last stop on your Sunny Studio Stamps blog hop celebrating our 4th year! You should have come from Anja Bytyqi and can go back to Sunny Studio Stamps to check out all the new release again and pre-order yours today! I hope you have been commenting on each blog as you hopped along because each one of us gets to give one lucky winner on each blog $25 to the store!
I am supper excited to be part of this blog hop and am excited to be joining the fun and talented ladies on the Sunny Studio’s Design Team! Her style is whimsical fun and I love her bright and happy designs! Now on to the good stuff!
I started my slimline card by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which fits perfectly into the size 9A envelopes.
The Sunny Studio new release products I used:
- Hogs & Kisses stamp set
- Hogs & Kisses dies
- Scenic Route stamp set
- Scenic Route dies
- Christmas Garland Frame dies (Christmas word)
- Frilly Frames Polka Dot
- Rainbow Pearls domes
I created my slimline scallop frame by die cutting partway and then aligning again and recutting to get the size I needed. An awesome way to extend your dies and use them in different ways!
Next, I lightly inked the sky with spun sugar directly on the scalloped frame. I then stamped all my images from Hogs & Kisses & Scenic Route stamp sets, colored them with copic markers, and die cut out using Hogs & Kisses coordinating dies & Scenic Route coordinating dies.
To finish off the card, I heat embossed Hoggy in white and trimmed to create a small banner. Next, I die cut the Christmas once from gold foil and multiple times from scraps of white and layered to get a thick sentiment. I added some domes in varying colors and sizes to match the colors in the card. For my final touches I added a bit of sparkle with the wink of stella.
I really hope you have been inspired along your hop today!
The official holiday release is on September 27th, but in honor of our 4th birthday, the new products are available now as a PRE-ORDER here! You also can get this free die if you order early!
Thank you and don’t forget to comment for your chance to win $25 gift certificate to the store! The contest runs through Friday, September 27th 11:59pm PDT and will be announced on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog on Tuesday, October 1st!

Thanks for making a long card – so different than most other cards we see. The hogs card is so adorable but I couldn’t figure out who would really want to receive it at Christmas; but, then the Washington Redskins game came on. Then I knew that a Washington HOGS fan would enjoy it:)

Such a happy, little card. I was wondering just the other day what a size would be for making a long skinny card. So thanks for that info, too. I like your pale pinkish sky.

I’m hog wild over your card, Candice! It’s adorable! I especially like the soft colors. Thank you for the tip on how to extend the length of die-cut frames – something I didn’t know and will definitely try in the future!
